About CAL

The Canadian Academy of Libya (CAL) is a private international school, based in Tripoli, Libya, with K-12 classes centered on the Ontario curriculum, since our founding in 2012, we have grown to become one of the leading international schools in the country, consistently recognized as such by the Ministry of Education. The Canadian Academy of Libya develops well-rounded students with a deep sense of personal integrity who have the moral character, love of learning, and self-confidence to realize their full-potential.

CAL is the first school in Libya to introduce the Canadian curriculum and implement the Canadian educational system.

At CAL education is seen as the most desirable route to enjoying a decent living and to enhancing personal growth and happiness.

CAL is a community of lifelong learners. CAL provides each student with the opportunity to achieve his/her personal best within an International education environment. The school prepares students to succeed in English-speaking schools, colleges, and eventually universities. Our students will acquire the skills and attitude necessary to be intellectually reflective, lead a lifetime of meaningful work, be caring and ethical citizens, and be physically and mentally healthy.
