About Us
Current educational research and experiences demonstrate that children this age possess an innate desire to learn and an extraordinary capacity to absorb information from their surroundings.
We use a benchmark approach that enriches how the content is taught. The Middle School provides a balanced and broad range of subjects, and meaningful curriculum links are made among the subject areas.
Their flexible and self-directed curriculum can be taken by students 14 years of age and up, and is designed to prepare international students for top university and college placements.
CAL’s faculty members are specialists in their fields, and each cares about the whole child, and works to foster self-reliance, personal responsibility and fundamental respect in every student. They consider teaching students to be their job, and developing students’ character to be their responsibility.
Our Mission & Vision
CAL’s educational philosophy is based on providing a blend of the best of Western and Libyan educational practice. We will at all times be sensitive to local values, traditions, and customs.
The Canadian Academy of Libya’s challenging, comprehensive and supportive learning environment encourages students to actively discover and develop their intellectual, social, emotional, moral, physical, and creative potential.
