Robotics at CAL

Robotics is a field of technology which incorporate creativity and fun simultaneously along with technical knowledge. Students can design and create amazing machines and devices just by using their creativity. Educational robots help children develop one of the basic cognitive skills of mathematical thinking at an early age: computational thinking. That is, they help develop the mental process we use to solve problems of various kinds through an orderly sequence of actions. It forces them to work through complex logic problems and will improve crucial puzzle-solving skills. In addition to this, it also gives them the ideal environment to learn how to handle making mistakes.

Robotics club was introduced at CAL in the academic year 2021-2022. Students were provided choice to join the club from Middle school and High school. The Robotics team was named as CAL Knights Robotics Team. The team was prepared to take part in competitions on national level among other schools in Libya. Our team worked hard and scored 1st position in the first competition, which was a great success. In the second competition our team was given the award for participating in the competition.

Sport Activates

Sports is a major part of the school curriculum to ensure their mental and physical health. Students have to participate in school sports to increase confidence, mental alertness, and self-esteem. Sports are important in CAL because it helps to teach various skills to students like leadership, patience, patience, team efforts, and social skills. At CAL students enjoy a regular schedule for P.E sessions. Some of the sports activities offered at CAL include basketball and football for both girls and boys. The P.E curriculum contributes to children’s overall development by helping them to lead full, active and healthy lives. The PE curriculum provides a balanced range of activities for children.
