Is Canadian Academy of Learning fully accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education?

What is a BSID number?

School BSID (Board School Identification) number is an identification number assigned to Ontario private schools by the Ministry of Education after they are validated and added to the Ministry’s private school list. The BSID itself confirms that the school is recognised by the Ministry as a private school for data and reporting purposes. Separately, inspected secondary schools may be granted the authority to offer credits toward the OSSD. Together, the BSID listing and any credit‑granting authority signal that student records, credits, and diplomas issued under that school align with Ontario’s education standards.

Why is a BSID number important for a school?

It adds credibility and helps verify the school’s status for diplomas, university admissions, and scholarships.

Are the Learning Management System (LMS) and curriculum that the Canadian Academy of Learning use aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education standards?
