The OSSD credits are delivered through its affiliated Ontario private school, the Canadian Academy of Learning (“Canadian Academy of Learning”), which is listed on the Ontario Ministry of Education’s private school directory as a credit‑granting secondary school under BSID 884215, and is operated on behalf of the Canadian Academy of Libya (CAL) by SchoolConex Inc. using the SchoolConex Learning Management System (LMS). Following a successful inspection, the Canadian Academy of Learning has been assigned Ministry BSID 884215 and, accordingly has been authorized to grant OSSD credits. The Canadian Academy of Learning appears on the Ministry’s online private school list as a credit‑granting secondary school under this BSID
School BSID (Board School Identification) number is an identification number assigned to Ontario private schools by the Ministry of Education after they are validated and added to the Ministry’s private school list. The BSID itself confirms that the school is recognised by the Ministry as a private school for data and reporting purposes. Separately, inspected secondary schools may be granted the authority to offer credits toward the OSSD. Together, the BSID listing and any credit‑granting authority signal that student records, credits, and diplomas issued under that school align with Ontario’s education standards.
